A salad sauce sold in places of tradition Joe in 17 countries and Washington, DC, is remembered because of a “labeling error”.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the withdrawal on Monday.
12 ounce bottles of dealer Joe’s hot mustard coating may contain allergens, including peanuts, sesame, soybean and wheat, not indicated on the label, according to the FDA memory announcement.
These bottles were sold in the countries of Trader Joe in Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Luiziana, Maine, Maryland, North Carolina, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia, in addition to Washington, DC
The bottles of the drawn salad dress have a product code of 80152.
They have a May 27 use date.
FRESH Creative Foods based in California, which produced salad sauce under the trade of Joe, released voluntary withdrawal on Sunday.
“Customers who buy this product can take it back to Trader Joe for a full refund or remove the item,” according to the withdrawal notice.
Remembrance is third for dealer Joe’s products since February, as Fox Business previously reported.
Trader Joe has been announced earlier in March that Gerolsteiner’s glass containers with sparkling water sold in 12 states can be shattered.
This followed a February announcement that the frozen foods of the dealer Joe’s organic key may contain plastic in them.
“In Trader Joe’s, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our clients and crew members,” Nakia Rohde spokesman for Fox News Digital told.
“Given this, we do our daily work to ensure that our products meet our strict food safety expectations. We take no chance when it comes to safety and quality of the product.”
Communications associated with the attraction of the dealer Joe “go beyond regulatory requirements,” Rohde also said.
“With more than five decades of experience working directly with manufacturers of our products, we stay close to our proactive practices and constantly improve our food safety processes,” Rohe said. “We take these issues seriously – personally, even after our families eat and drink other products.”
