Brown rice has 40% more than this toxic chemicals than white rice

Next time you order Chinese pickup – you may want to consider this unsafe news.

But a recent study shows that the favorite of the fans contains significant quantities of toxic arsenic-chemicals famously presented in the old school poison plots in the mysteries of the killings.

Researchers analyzed rice sampling data and found that brown rice contains 24% more arsenic and 40% more inorganic arsenic – a well -known carcinogen – than white rice.

Chronic consumption of each arsenic can lead to skin problems and digestive issues, as well as an increased risk of diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease.

The WHO notes that early childhood exposure to arsenic “has been linked to negative impacts on cognitive development and increased deaths among young adults.”

Indeed, the new study researchers noted that “there is a potential risk for harmful exposure to arsenic from brown rice among children under the age of five”, given that they can eat more food than their body weight than adults.

Brown rice tends to accumulate higher levels of arsenic because the toxic element concentrates on the outer layers of the grain, which are kept in brown rice but removed during white rice processing.

This means that while brown rice can offer more fiber and nutrients – it also gives a heavier dose of arsenic.

But don’t be afraid – researchers noted that “exposure to most Americans within the analysis did not increase to a level that was a concern to present raised risks of harmful health results.”

As such, they are not telling you to avoid brown rice altogether. They simply recommend diversifying wheat choices and using cooking methods that can reduce arsenic content – such as rusting rice as a whole and cooking it in excess water – especially for younger children.

The FDA has previously issued guidelines for restricting rice consumption for infants and pregnant women, due to the evidence that inorganic arsenic exposure has been linked to brain development issues and the risk of cancer.
